  1. My dad and I are planning a fun, little trip to Iowa this weekend. We weren’t sure what was going to be the best weekend but decided this weekend was it. Our plan at this point (early tomorrow morning I have to make a couple phone calls), is leaving late afternoon tomorrow. Then going to Red Oak Iowa first, there is a well known show pig breeder there. I meant him last Oct. with the rest of my 4-H livestock judging team on our way to a national judging contest, so we will visit him hopefully. I’m thinking we will do that Sat. Morning then head 30 or so minutes to Avoca to FARMALL LAND and spend the afternoon there. Then come home Saturday night. My question is, are any of you going to be at FARMALL LAND this Saturday? Or or any of you close by? Since being on this forum for 2 1/2 years I’ve yet to meet any of you guys in person........ and so looking forward to it!! Can’t make it to Huron unfortunately so I was asking to see who I should look out for!
  2. Well like I said above, snowed in and church is cancelled. So we need pictures of everyday life on the farm. I hunted up a bunch of random pictures from our farm that I don't think I have shared here before. Hope you enjoy the good, bad and the ugly. By the way, that green Demco is NOT ours, it belongs to a guy we harvest for. If we had Demco's they would be red. Yes our Parkers are green, but they are old enough there was no color choice. Enjoy and lets see all your pictures today.
