  1. IH 215 plow , serial plate

Picked up this IH 215 plow the other day that looks to be in original condition. I've seen ih plows with serial plates before but I was wondering could you tell about what time frame this plow is ?. I know it's got to be mid to late 70s . Any help thanks Matt .
  2. I was told today that you could still get the padded steering wheels for the Late model 79 Farmall 140 tractors from CIH . Do they still offer the replacement ? The one below is the one I need to replace .
  3. Farmall 140 R.O.P.S Finished

Finally finished with the R.O.P.S on the 79 Farmall 140 . Not as easy as it looked to put on but its on and done . just driving around its not as top heavy as you would think and drives great . Its definitely getting some attention at the NC state Fair . Most everyone thinks its home made but its 100% factory . Hope to have some more video on it soon .
  4. A friend of mine down the road has a 79 International 140 tractor with a really late serial number being Ser#66879 . He's had the tractor for 3 or 4 years and said hes never had to power wash it untill last weekend and after he washed the tractor he noticed 3 numbers written on the side of the oil pan " 879 " . Didnt take long to figure out it was the last 3 digits of the serial number but it was written in what looks like a black paint pen . On my 79 140 I noticed the same thing except my 3 digit number " 701" was written on the side of the grille above the 140 decal its funny for about a month I was wondering why someone wrote numbers on the side like that . Is this something they did at the factory or why was this done ? First Photos of my neighbors 140 . Photos of my tractor . #66701 Kinda hard to see but in the yellow circle it clearly shows "701"
  5. 1466 Black Stripe Ad

Black stripe ad I made for a friend of mine .
  6. This is my 1979 International Farmall 140 Tractor Serial # 66701J and if my math is right that makes it 189th from the end of production . I picked this tractor up in December of 2016 in Cynthiana Ky from the original Owner . He purchased the tractor in 1980 from the Harrison Motor Company in Cynthiana Ky . The Casting dates on the tractor have it being made in and around October and November of 1979 . The tractor is all original except the Fast hitch I installed and the muffler other than that its all original . It has the padded steering wheel , turn signals , safety neutral switch on the clutch pedal , original seat and original tires. It had a slight upper radiator hose leak and I decided to change it and the valve cover gasket and it still had the Red paint from the factory on the gasket so I'm pretty sure it has never been in to . I don't think I could have stumbled across a nicer tractor and to be 38 Years old its in Great shape . It also came with a full set of cultivators that are good and tight still , the owner bought the tractor to cultivate corn and a few other crops he had so I feel that is never really been worked hard only cultivating . 7. Been working on this 1949 Farmall C for a wile getting it ready to pull and this was its first official pull . Were still tweaking on it and figuring out where the weight works the best but it didnt do that bad its first time out . Its a 1949 Farmall C that was saved from going to scrap and we completely restored it and changed out the engine to a C-153 out of a IH 105 combine and other than that its completely a stock Farmall C .
  8. IH Cub Power Unit ID help

I recently purchased a Cub engine that I think was on a IH baler or 64 combine . The casting codes on the engine put it being a 1951 on the block . By the serial numbers can anyone tell me exactly what it was on and any info would be greatly appreciated . I plan on going through it and taking it to shows . Thanks
