In 1966 starting my Farming career , I watched my local Blacksmith / family friend , purchase this truck new and build the bed for it. I was 21 no money trying to farm with old IH equipment that Herb the blacksmith kept repairing for me . Saw Herb use this truck until he became ill and retired in the late nineties , passed in early 2000’s He willed it to grandson , few years later I bought it from grandson and put it in storage. I kept it up and running but it’s very tired. After consulting with IH parts of America in Grass Valley Ca. I hauled it to them yesterday . they will do a complete refurbish and hopefully it will be a driver , and an addition to my IH tractor collection as their IH service truck. I will post progress here as I take pictures and have updates. for now pictures of it before restoration and on trailer to be delivered 231 miles North tony
