Changed out 8 of the 10 tires on our M818 tonight. We had an inch air impact but too small a hose to get the CFM's to run it. (ranch shop) I brought my Milwaukee 1/2" impact just because i wanted to see what it could do. Didn't really plan on using it. Adapted up to 3/4" drive 1 1/2" socket. And you know, that little bugger did all the work on the first six before they plumbed in a big enough air line to finish the last two tires. That is 60 lug nuts or the Bud lug nut stud thing whatever you call them. Loosened and retightened. I still had 2 bars out of 4 on battery life left. Now, I don't think you would want to use this tool for this job day in and day out but it impressed the North Country boys who are all DeWalt. They never offered to try theirs. (not a slam on DeWalt, good tools) I have always been a fan of Milwaukee corded and cordless tools.
Seems like im always on vacation these days. But I need a break again. Planning on a short adventure down into Texas and doing some rock climbing on the new foot. Hopefully I can hang out with some beautiful women and go relax in the cold winter sun. Im leaving at 4 today so pictures should be inbound for the next few days!
