  1. 3588 Hydraulic problems

Hey guys its been awhile since I've been on, but my 3588 is acting up again. Last time is was the steer pump which we replaced with a Hy-Cap gear pump and the hand pump for the steering was right full of shrapnel from the piston pump grenading. The new problem is we have very little to no remote power. It lifts the harrows slowly but there small cylinders, but we put it on our bale shredder with larger lift cylinders and two motors. Could it be by-pass pressure from the steering system? Or a poor relief valve or cushion valve? The lines on the tractor aren't hammering like the pump is caveating but we did notice the tractor doesn't labour at an idle anymore or stall. Or could it be a signal issue coming from the remotes? The tractor doesn't have 3PT but has three remotes. The PTO runs continuously, it also hesitates or stalls when you pull the T/A down unless you throttle back. I pulled the filters and checked the screens. There's a tiny amount of filings on them. We also run the tractor with the extra 5gals of hy-trans. The oil is clean with no filings in it. We haven't put gauges on the remotes to see what pressure is back there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Better lighting

Hey guys. I'm looking into adding additional lights to my 3588 soon for spring fieldwork. The original ones just don't seem to give me enough light. I was wondering if anyone had advice of pictures of lights they may have added? Thanks in advance!
