  1. Gotta love the sprayer setup.
  2. One out of sixty.
  3. Are looking for a gas engine for a T35 or a diesel for a TD35?
  4. In my 20’s I used to ride bicycle quit a bit. I found a lot of hand tools on highway shoulders. Ratchets and combo wrenches mostly. Presumably they fell off engine after being worked on.
  5. Just today I finished reading “The Storm on Our Shores”. About the battle on Attu island in the Aleutians. I had never heard about it. A waste of a lot of lives for a nothing island. Normally on Memorial Day I reread some of Stephen Ambose’s D-Day, just to get my head in the right place.
  6. I understand that Black Face is a bad thing. You may get canceled.
  7. @wombwell If you fly into Minneapolis or happen to pass through Minnesota let me know. Wife and I could host you either in a Minneapolis suburb or small southern Minnesota farm community. Years ago we used to host Scandinavian dance groups as they passed through on tour. Always an enjoyable experience. I should add that the Clay county fair in Spencer Iowa is a day well spent. Sept 11-19 this year.
  8. On a related note https://www.nujournal.com/news/local-news/2020/12/15/se-man-charged-with-child-endangerment/
  9. One of my favorite movies. “It’s supposed to be hard. It’s the hard that makes it great. If it wasn’t hard, everyone would be doing it” I used those lines on the kids for several topics when they were growing up.
  10. I should have asked, what are you pulling with? That was the fix with my Magnum. The anti-settling seems to only work when holding “up” pressure. You want the anti-settling to maintain the down pressure.
  11. Reverse the hydraulic hoses. Up is down, down is up.
  12. I’m guessing you mean indictment, not verdict, if referring to Louisville.
  13. Don’t see these too often https://mankato.craigslist.org/grd/d/new-ulm-ih-conbine/7181260205.html
  14. You found the weak spot of this carburetor. The shaft that the nut came off of is hollow and easily twists off and is ruined. Put your favorite lubricant in there and let it work. If you are lucky you can start to rotate the body parts and work it loose.
  15. Reminds me of my favorite “Cheers” episode. Cliff Claven is a contestant. Categories: Civil Servants Stamps from around the world Bar Trivia Celibacy Beer Mothers and Sons
  16. Whoever recommended “Castles of Steel”, thanks. I ordered it up from Amazon and have just finished it. Very interesting read.
  17. I’d like to see them try this in a kid’s movie now. https://youtu.be/QZgN6F0GD2g
  18. Yes!! I hadn’t thought of that in decades.
  19. Once I caught a momma raccoon with 5 little ones in a have-a-Heart. One more little one was running around the trap. Caught him the next night.
  20. D-day by Stephen Ambrose. I read some of it again every year around this time. Fantastic book.
  21. I had a 76 Monte Carlo new in Dec 75. Ordered it with the 400. It was a nice driving car. Had to part with it when first kid came along. Too hard to put a car seat in the back.
  22. There’s a 3/8 hole in the tripping mechanism, just to the left of the circle you drew. When shimmed correctly you can sight through hole and inner bar is flush with the hole.
  23. Tom, Attached is the line setting ticket for my 1568.  Located in New Ulm, MN

      That is really cool!

Did you buy this tractor new?

Can I get a description of the condition, etc?

Also, owner name, ph@. and/or email would be helpful as well.

PS - The closest I currently have to yours is 7354 (IA) and 7362 (no info)

  24. I enjoyed the video. In an effort to reduce wasted hand cranking of my TD-35, after flipping the decompression lever I generally turn the magneto by hand until it engages so I don't have to crank the engine to get the magneto engaged. Have fun with the new toy!
