I have hitched a few times only when I broke down or got stuck in the woods. I picked a guy up in the winter along I-295 when it was cold. I had a 70 1100D with 36" Super Swampers, the road was a little icy from the morning snow We crested a hill on to a icy bridge and the back end of the truck came around the front tires started sliding along the curb. As soon as the guard rail ended we were in the ditch with a couple feet of snow He was shaken by the wild ride and said he was late and started thumbing again. I got out locked the hubs and was able to back out of the ditch I saw him on the road again after I got unstuck and stopped to see if he wanted a ride again and he said no thanks 🤣

I have a 69 Ford 4400 which was built at Highland Park Plant and a 97 Ford New-Holland 3930, UK built, which was one of the last years of the Ford thousand series linage, every thing after was CIH designed. The former Ford tractor plant in Romeo, Michigan, opened in 1973 on 32 Mile Road. It built Ford agricultural and industrial tractors until 1988, when production moved overseas. A guy here was quoted $3000 for 2 coil packs and 16 spark plugs ( if they came out) in a 6.2 GM 3.6 V6 the intake needs to come off to get to the plugs on one side. Then while you have the intake off time to walnut blast the intake valves because GM is too cheep to run a second injector in the port to keep the valve clean. So yes a plug change can get expensive
