    1486 fuel pump

I need to remove the fuel pump on my 1486 because it is leaking. I have done several 06 series pumps but never a 66 series pump. Can someone tell me the process please. Thank you

    New to me 1486

I have a few questions about a 1486 I just bought. 1. It leaks fuel out of the top of the fuel pump right below the cap where all the injector lines hook up. Is here an easy fix or do I have to send it in for a rebuild? 2 I would like to eliminate the muffler and put a chrome stack on it. Any recommendations on where to get a muffler eliminator and chrome stack? 3. It appears that the turbo is fairly new. It is a Garret turbo. Are they a decent turbo? Thanks for any help with these questions
  8. Thanks for the input. I am going to run the valves on the old gal. I will start with making sure the batteries are up to par. They seem a little on the small side to me and the starter turns OK but not as fast as I would like. The tractor seems to run out nice so far. It needs some TLC and it will be a really nice set up to do some haying with. Thank you
  9. I bought a 1486 with approximately 6,000 hours that starts hard when cold(20 ish). If you plug it in it starts right up no problem. The tractor was well taken care of just needs some minor TLC and I will eventually restore it. When cranking it has smoke and will eventually start after a period of cranking. What would be the first thing to look at?
