There is no lift pump on the 62 series TD6, does the tractor have a Rosa Master or IH RD pump. You bleed the fuel filters first, (bleed fitting on top of each fuel filter, takes a 7/16 inch wrench) then bleed the fuel line at the pump (3/4 inch wrench) crack open a couple of the fittings at the injection nozzles, crank the engine, it should start after a minute or so, do not crank for more than 30 seconds at a time so the starter does not overheat, then tighten up the loose injector fittings while it is running. You will need enough fuel in the fuel tank to have enough head to bleed the system. For all this to work the glow plugs need to be all good.

Dennis is right, the part number is 625 809 C2, that is the correct yoke that is on the transmission, 619 962 C1 is the flange that is on the output of the torque converter. TD7 C , 100C use the same universal joint.

It all depended on the application; in the construction version the power shift was a naturally aspirated D282 rated at 75 HP flywheel @2300 rpm, the gear drive was a turbocharged DT282 rated at 66 HP @1700 rpm. The ag version TD9B was turbocharged rated at 75 HP flywheel @1850 rpm. The D282 industrial was rated 91 HP flywheel @2400 rpm. It depended on the pump specifications. Different applications used different pump settings, the D282's were rated anywhere between 1500-2500 rpm.

I need some information on items shipped from Canada to the US, I purchased a track pin press from a company that manufactures them in Canada, now that the company is ready to ship the company is saying the customs broker needs my social security number, no way will I give that to them, what is required to have an item shipped from Canada to the US as far as customs?

Those two plates are footrests, there is a low seat version and a high seat version.

It has been 40 years since the last clutch I did on a 9B but as I recall you had to pull the motor as the hole in t deck is not large enough to remove the pressure plate assembly out of. If I was going to that amount of work I would resurface the flywheel and pressure plate to make sure they are flat. Clutch disk would be new or relined.he
When you say it will not snap over now do you mean you can pull clutch back and it will not snap or you can not pull the clutch back all the way and it will not snap over. First scenario clutch is not adjusted tight enough and second clutch is to tight. I am assuming you put the lock back in to hold the clutch where you set it.
The clutch clears the opening, the flywheel does not, if you are game the flywheel will come out with some grinding on the case, not something I would do but it is an option.

That is a good number, my 62 series with increased capacity hydraulics is rated 33 gpm @ 1800 rpm, the four cylinder is a lower rpm engine.

AC, in the Bay Area I was told $50.00 a ton two weeks ago. That tractor looks to be a narrow gauge (40-inch center to center), probably not a good choice if you are working in steep country, look for a wide gauge (50-inch)

This is out of the parts manual for the 100C, loader version of the TD7C, it should help you out and give you an idea on where the hoses go. Hose # 3 goes into the torque converter housing, hose # 8 goes to a filter, I believe they did away with that filter on the later tractors. Do you have a parts book for your tractor? Page 7-32 is the plumbing at the torque converter, hose # 39 is connected to the filter # 48 which is connected to hose # 8 on page 6-4.

That is a very nice looking TD6, it looks very straight and not abused. This is the first one I have seen with the sprocket drive housing shields. That tractor is a keeper.

Not sure on the D236, the D282 is located on the right side of the engine to the front and above the fuel injection pump, look there, if it is an early engine then it is located on a pad on the left side of the engine to the front and above the oil cooler mounting pad.

Reed, I would pull the fuel filters to see how dirty they are in there, if the filters look clean reinstall them, if not and usually a lot of crud accumulates at the bottom of the canister I would replace them, with the filter out of the primary canister open the full valve (located at the bottom of the fuel tank) to make sure the fuel flows and is clean. You need good flow of fuel at the injection pump. Filters are available at NAPA auto parts. Take pictures, we like pictures.
