  1. The shaft goes straight through the tank via a two inch tube.
  2. My Dad's winter project Farmall 400 LPG! He turned 76 in May! Still works harder than anyone I know! The next winter's project is his brother's Oliver Super 77!
  3. The only recommendation I have is that she should drive it around and operate it. The worse thing she won't get it. The best thing she will get a couple more!
  4. My Dad modified fast hitch just for that reason. It does help a lot.

    Tractor

What is your best reason to get a "new to you" tractor? It was cheap? Price is right? My other tractor was lonely? I had the need for more power? I always wanted one? A family member had one while I was growing up? There was an open spot in the shed? I was needing that one to complete my collection? I didn't have one of that color scheme? It was made in my favorite decade? Which is better hooking up an implement or just driving a different tractor! Tractor's are highly collectible and I'm going to sell it to make a lot more money one day?
  6. Appears to me like a hand rail for steps.
  7. Nice ads for the new line of farmall tractors!
  8. https://www.jensales.com/ On this website you can order online manuals and/or books. I have had good luck with them. It is very easy to navigate the website. Best of luck.
  9. My 806 three point is being very jumpy. Only with an implement attached. I have plenty of hydraulic fluid. Just does it if implement is up for a while. Any ideas will be helpful! Thanks in advance!
  10. Not good! If you have it torn apart might as well replace everything. Just my opinion! I am sure you don't want to rebuild it again!
  11. Have you checked the float? We had a pin hole in the float. It would run then die. Put the float in a bowl seen an air bubbles coming out.
  12. There are some terrible people out there!
  13. Removing some underbrush with the T-340! I think it is a get little machine!
  14. An International 606 came across my radar. Decently priced and looks to be in good shape. I did some research on it. It is basically a 460. I just never heard of the model 606. The 706 and 806 were the most know and advertised models. The 656 soon replaced it and was more popular tractor. What happened to the 606? Why didn't it become as popular model?

  16. I am wondering how popular the 3444 is? Did the 3444 have a farmall version? How easy is it to get parts for it? Thanks

  18. What I have done is get the part number via parts catalog. Then Google the number it as work 90% of the time. This is the perfect example the dryer wasn't drying clothes! I found a awesome website that had different makes and models. Typed the model number had a complete break down of the parts. I got the heating element for 20 dollars! It would have cost 40 plus repairman bill or buy a new one! These days nothing is to be repaired just replaced! The computers and software is setup on a timer die not to last! You can see this in all walks of manufacturing! You think a new car is going to last 20-30 years driving off the lot right now? Those of us that have an old tractor vs one today no comparison! Built to last isn't used by anyone!

Chance you may find it is hit and miss but sometimes luck is all you need!
