  1. Also good for creating bloody gashes and bruised knuckles when it slipped off nuts.
  2. Google Elvis Presley John Deere 4010. Was able to find some articles on the restoration. Pretty good one was in Successful Farming. My son used to get Toy Farmer magazine. I’m sure they did an article on it when Ertl released the toy but I couldn’t find it. Remember it saying that at some point in the project one of the students jokingly said it must be Elvis’ tractor. They were all surprised when they eventually found out it was his. The dents were left in because of history. How do you take out a dent that was made by Elvis?
  3. Don’t think he’s going to believe you.
  4. Also check to see if it ever was used with a dozer blade. With no frame, all the flex is on the engine block. Can stress the block and cause cracking.
  5. That is so weird, snow on the ground and tornado damage in the same picture.
  6. Such a sad, tragic incident. Prayers for you, your family and community.
  7. “Oh say can you see” No explanation needed!
  8. Oh yea, Harold Ensley, the Sportsman’s Friend. Watched that show every week as a kid.
  9. Dad’s casket had a little drawer. Sent him to heaven with his CeeTee pliers and a hunk of baling wire. You just never know what you’re going to need. Also sent a pair of new Key bib overalls. Miss ya Dad.
  10. Got any more of that? Tub is already empty!
  11. Yea, toy machine sheds are like real sheds, you never build them big enough.
  12. Nice! You’ll get as much joy out of it watching him as he will playing with it.
  13. Congratulations! And by the way, that was a BIG announcement 😃
  14. Did you have the required team to lift the oversized/overweight carton? It looks good.
  15. @Sandhiller just tell your wife that although it looks like a freight train, it is actually a fuel and oil storage facility.
  16. Just got to keep telling yourself “It could always be worse”. And you know what, it may in fact get worse. But it’s still a whole lot better than what it could be!
  17. Looks good! Excellent first post, we like the pictures.
  18. Could always spot a Ford guy by the grease stains on the inside cuff of his pants.
  19. Dad bought a new one in early spring of 1972. Deluxe cab with air. Boy did I catch a bunch of flack in ag classes about an air conditioned cab! Have a black and white picture of it somewhere of the day it was delivered.
  20. Needs to get some warm nights. They have to be big enough to trip over for me to find any. So I never find any. ?
