  1. Sharp 1466, don't forget alternator belt shield. Also 26501 isnt the S/N. Thats the build code. All 1466 start with 26501U#####. the the SN is after the U
  2. I was medically retired from the Marines back in 2010. Served 8 years, 4 combat tours. Was going to enlist for 3rd time but my body was all used up and previous injuries when i was younger started taking it toll and setting in. Navy doc said "marine, your like a double AA battery thats all used up, heres your paper work, enjoy early retirement." And i am. Feel like im 20 years too late in the tractor game though. Looking back i should have been buying trucks and tractors back then but instead i drank enough beer state side to float a battleship. I spent most of my military career over seas and i partied all over the world in true Marine Corp fashion. Came home, sobbered up, got married, had kids, starting buying bigger and bigger toys and cattle here and there.
  3. It will have a 2350 loader on it some. 4 sets of weights is only 600 per wheel, 1200lbs total vs 100gal 800+ lbs per wheel of liquid balast. The way i mount them i can remove 1or2or3 sets of weights eaisly. I originaly made the mounting bolts for only 3 sets but forgot the clamp on centers are narrower than wedgelocks so i had enough thread to mount 4th set. I have to haul a tractor to maintain my grandmothers land up on the red river and i needed a smaller, lighter and shorter loader tractor. Its nothing but sugar sand up there and no rear weights=no traction at all. Even the Lawn mower has **** with traction. Lots of trees and narrow trails and the 1026 is just too big to get around out there. Im on blackland. When its dry its like concrete and tires wont grab. When its wet its sticky and you have to dig in to pull through. If i was haying my tractors i would pull the weights but as little as i use them theyre fine. Im also going to be using the 756 to pull a 3yd pan scrapper cleaning out pools and it takes the wheel weights to pull and front weights (12-75lbs) to keep the front end down. Draft control does most of that though.
  4. The 1066 white panel is going to France.
  5. I wont give more than .75lbs for ih stamped suitcase weights and $30-50 a circle for wheel weights depending on part #. If they are aftermarket, scrap metal value. Most of the aftermarket weights i have came on a tractor i bought. Friend is coming down from IA this fall and hes taking back some weights and parts to sell up around Des Moines. They dont sell down here. Hauled in some hay yesterday with the 756.
  6. Pallets and pallets of weights. Getting shorter though. Turned my old hay barn into a parts shop.
  7. The front tires are just a set I had laying around the shop the rear tires are the ones that came on it. There's a tire shop just right down the road that does front tractor tires and for the rears call a Mobile Tire guy.
  8. Easiest Front end ive ever had to adjust. Took 2 days to break 1 rear wheel clamp bolts and clamps loose. Other side was broke loose, turned around and clamped back down and tire back on in less than 1hr. Added hyd seat, 10.00x16 8 bolt fronts. Rebuilt shifter top plate, got all the dash and instruments lights working. Wish i had a set of 34" wedgelocks again. Thought of maybe going with 15.5 or 16.9 38s.
  9. George, pm sent. Ill get your 1026 logged in.
  10. Removed loader brackets, and ROPS. Now im finally getting it cleaned up. Added front mount hyd hook ups. The check valves back one minus the junky cobbled up hyd hoses some genius put on. Im gonna have new ones made and put it back to factory breakaways. 8 bolt 10.00-16s are going on soon. Shifter plate is about to be rebuilt too
  11. Mo mule, im sure someone out there has a 2250 and wants to trade up for a 2350. Not many had factory 8 bolt hubs. 756 in the brochure and manuals had 8 bolt hubs though. Got a call early this morning thinking a telemarketer was starting early or is it late in India? Any ways, nice older man was on the line. Said he saw my local classified ad and was wondering if i bought parts as well as sold them. Said sure i do. He went on on how he use to farm cotton but sold all his land years ago and now its all built up in houses and strip malls. Said he always used IH. Mentioned he wanted to clean out his old shop and had a few parts. Said he had 2 sets of fenders off the last 2 farmalls he had. Tractors and equipment was long gone. Im thinking great clam shell fenders. Guy had no way of sending pics and i had little to do today so i road tripped it.....and yeah......
  12. Never seen one if these still work untill now.
  13. I know it, but its very rare to see a true factory 56/26 series rops w/fenders. Its alot easier to put rops fenders on brackets than it is bracket fenders on rops. They do not interchange quick and easy. Im thinking of pulling it off and put open station fenders on it.
  14. Never seen an inline fuel cut off untill now. Unplugged it to see if it works and it killed it fairly quick at 1/3 throttle.
  15. After i got it home i noticed a few things. Someone moved the 55 series loader brackets way back and mounted them to frame rail and clutch housing like the 50s should have been. It sits back farther than it normally should but i like where its at. I have some 8 bolt hubs and 10.00s ready to go. These 7.50x18 are odd duck wheels and tires. Wish they were 8 bolt, even more rare. Guy i know i already screaming at me to swap my 34s for his 38s. Kinda like how i dont have to step up on this 756 as is. Pto brakes are shot. Fender lights work. I was more amazed about that fact than the front end was tight and unwelded. Need to find a bucket for it. Think my cih 2350 bucket has the fixed mounts. Have seen some that are adjustable.
  16. Only 756 gas ive seen in TX are LPG
