    well bought some more parts at a collector auction, got a nice original hood for a m distillate with good paint and also a rebuilt head with casting # 8777 da, looks like new valves and seats and also plained, is there any value to this head or is it just a boat anchor? i believe they are lower compression than the stock m gas head.

    ok rust red not 100% sure what it fits or it value earlier posts thought maybe 560, ihave 606's and 706's will check their casting numbers and compare

    that is the plan, would not sell or install before having them tested, the 282 head is complete with valves, springs etc. pulled a valve and looks like a fresh grind but will test it for sure, thanks guys.

    hi all, picked up two cylinder heads at auction today, looks as if they have been through the machine shop. one is a bare head off a gas start diesel casting # 260869R4 thinking might be off a MD or 400 and the other one is off a 282 casting # 323771R3, not sure what they fit, any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.....dieselman.

    will the gas tank from a super A fit a farmall C? or are they a little higher like the super C? thanks in advance.

    hi ralph, how are you? just wondering if you will make it to moose jaw this weekend for the chapter 38 club show? hopefully we can bump into each other as we are almost neighbours.....dieselman.

      well that is cool, we had a good ih dealer in this area and there was and still is a large amount of ih equipment around. just got home from moose jaw and it was fantastic, wish you could have beenthere.

      Yes, perfect weather and a great show from what I've heard. I kept up with it via the IHC chapter 38 facebook page where updates and photos were posted so I did see a little of it. You could put a few pics here on red power. I don't see anybody else posting any yet.

    Hi Colin, I see by you tractor list that you have a SW6-TA DIESEL, do you have a operators manual for it? I just bought a tractor like that and was wondering about starting procedure, or could I get a copy of your manual? Thanks in advance....dieselman.
