  3. A554, outstanding recovery on the picture posting!! I either don't get a picture at all or multiple copies of the pic. Love the BIG pics, thanks!! BK
  4. Perfect woman? Not me, I took the first one crazy enough to say "yes"!!!!!!! BK
  5. Wes, another hearty thanks for a great afternoon. Wish I could have stayed longer. Just beat the wife home!! Bill

  7. Palouse, I accidently made it to the show! I was cruising around with 2 cameras and wearing my "US Air Force Retired" hat. Sorry I didn't get a chance to arrange to meet you. It was a great show, check out my video and other pics in may "palouse" series. A lady from the Draft Horse Journal was telling me about a fella named Dave Morgan, who has a plow day at his place, near Colfax, the third Saturday of October every year. Know anything about it? I would love to attend that as well. Bill Karis
  8. Thank you, now I have a target!! BK Great pics Greg. Which day would be a good one to head down to Colfax to see the threshing activities? Bill The actual threshing bee is only on Labor Day. They don't thresh constantly because they don't have that much crop available, but several times during the day they steam up and put on a show, complete with field binding (actually heading), horses, wagons, the whole bit. Weather forecast looks good. The rest of the time the equipment is on standby for closer inspection. They have more recent harvesting equipment (pull combines, early self propelleds) on site also. They do a good job, lots of people and animals involved. Couple more recent state of the art pics taken nearby the other day. Cutting a twenty foot wide ridge with a thirty six foot header...

  10. Greg, exactly what day this weekend will the threshing activity be? I've been by the Fair Grounds before, just west of Colfax. I'm gonna try and make it down. Thanks Bill Karis

  12. Excellent Gary! You've completely redeemed yourself BK
  13. Gary, WOW, more and bigger pictures of those green IH trucks please!! Bill
  14. Old Binder, I'm confused. That KB-8 is a pic I posted here on RPM a few months ago. It was setting on Market St here in Spokane in front of a Ziggy's lumber yard. Bill Bill, I don't know how I did that, but I got the wrong Ziegler photo there, I guess. Mike Ziegler lives here in Helena and he sent me some photos of his family's KB-8 in Pennsylvania. Sorry for the screw up... I'll have to find Mike's photos. Gary Gary, no problem. If I had a nickel for every screwup I've made on the internet, I'd go buy some property in Whitefish! BK P.S. Love to more pics of IH trucks, I'm still amazed how many are still around and working.

  18. Wes, what a generous offer. Love to get some vids of your operation in action. Keep me posted. 981-7263, bkaris@comcast.net Thank you! Bill Karis

  19. Not sure but I think the blue and white Pontiac in the video was a 55. Somehow I missed getting a still photo of it. I did manage to catch the front end of this fine blue 57 Laurentian though. Enjoyed your tour of the Palouse too. Ralph, The first, lighter blue & white was a 1955. The later one, darker blue & white - stopped in line, was a 1957. Now I saw a Toyota today and I couldn't tell you whether it is a 2004 or a 2010? Gary Gary, you are exactly right. I use to be able to identify every make, model, and year. Now all I can tell is if it's red, blue, green or whatever BK
  20. Greg, you living in Colton? I think of you every time I ride down 195. Thanks for the input. Maybe get to have that cup of coffee we talked about a year or two ago!! Ever want to chat, 509-981-7263 Bill Karis

  21. Danny, sounds like you're a busy boy this summer. Wish I could make the half century show. Do you routinely take pictures of all the tractors you work on? If so I'd sure like to see them. Having good summer, just got back from the lake, Spirit Lake Id, and been riding my a## off! Just put up video of my ride in Palouse, check it out. Later Buddy!! Bill Karis

  22. Love the restored cars and trucks. My pop had a 56' Pontiac, powder blue and white. I just posted some video of the Palouse, have a look Greg, and a guy in Tekoa WA may be trying to corner the market on old Pontiacs Love this thread. Bill
  23. Danny, got 2 complimentary DVDs heading your way. Couldn't get it all on one DVD. Got my bike back on the road after flat front tire. Slow leak, just had to keep stopping for air to get home. Chat later partner. BK
