  1. I haven't been able to get on it since before 11:00 A.M.
  2. Beautiful job, but it needs a shiny muffler instead of the black one!
  3. Weren't they primarily used on '06 and '56 series tractors? I guess I've seen them on '66 pullers as well.
  4. Man, I hate to hear this Byron, I had talked to Roger on the phone a few times over the years, but I never did get to meet him. You and me are getting to be the old farts on here now!
  5. Miss Rose is looking good and I'm glad she has a nice ride Jere!
  6. Cleston definitely goes to the beat of a different drummer, he is a good friend of mine and has been for many many years.
  7. I am so sorry to hear of this, you have my condolences and good thoughts from KY...
  8. My dad had a 1066 with red cab exactly like the one in the last pic, we ran it at 195 hp for several years back when we did tillage.
  9. That is almost a dead ringer to my S660, I have a 630F auger head instead of a draper and mine has a spreader on the rear instead of a chopper. The combine in my avatar is the 9570 I had before the 660.
  10. I have a '57 model 350 that I'm the 2nd owner of, bought the farm it was on after I bought the tractor. Mine has power steering and fast hitch, I've converted it to 12 volt and electronic ignition, makes a nice yard tractor for moving equipment around. I owned a '54 Super H for a little while, found out it needed overhauling and got rid of it, I wish now I'd kept it, I actually love the styling of the Supers much more that the 100's and 50's style tractor. I'd love to have a Super HTA, that would give me the best of both worlds.
  11. That first tractor in the video looks like a cross between a Minnie Mo and an Oliver with a Moline or Hercules engine. We bought a new 1750 Diesel when I was in college, it would eat up a 4020 Diesel that was turned up to 100 hp anywhere you put it. The farm my dad was managing at the time was sold in 1971 and the people who bought it got all the machinery. I heard that a year or 2 later it threw a rod and windowed the block, it was cowboyed hard after it left us.
  12. Roger, you and boog and others have hit it on the head. Dec. is always depressing for me for all the reasons boog stated plus having to celebrate Christmas with my family and the in laws. I get along with everybody, but am a loner by nature and hate being around noisy people. I'm much happier if I am by myself somewhere where it is quiet!
