  1. I will have to do the high 4th slip test in DD and TA when I get a chance. Yes the snap ring does bottom out when lever is in DD.
  2. So, if it slipps in DD only what first do I check, oil pressure? What is the best way to do that? When it comes to adjustments, the dump valve? Which I believe I have right.
  3. Hytran is at the full level …… telltale comes on when clutch is depressed….goes out right before tractor begins to move……I will have to try the brake, high 4th, 3/4 throttle and see if kills the engine
  4. Don't know if it does it ta position. I heard to check the touque is to put it under a load while moving with the brakes applied then pull the tourque back and then push it forward and see if there is any slippage. Obviously doing this in a lower gear, "low 4th", I would think this would test the tourque without the clutch slipping, being in a working load range. Any thoughts?
  5. I have a 1964 806 diesel. I don't do a lot of work with it anymore. Does a lot of parades and tractor rides. last year I have noticed what seem like the clutch slipping some when in high fourth rolling along then grabbing some throttle. I have adjusted the clutch following what I have read on the forums. Free play first, then dump valve, then trans brake. Did it before I adjusted it and after. So, I'm thinking it might be time for a new clutch or maybe the TA is giving up on me, or could it be oil pressure. What should I check first and how? Thanks for any responses.
