  1. Did you try a different pump supplier?
  2. I suggest getting a whole new dipstick. Over the years metal fatigue develops from taking it in and out and they do break. Many years ago had to drop the oil pan on a 1066 to get the broken piece out.

  4. They can get rusted and sturck real tight over the years. For our late dad's 1066 we had to torch it around the bolt a year ago. Than still had to drive the one half out. It was a three hur job. Probably way there is no problem getting replacement ones!! Using a big powerfull impact at times just makes things tigher and harder to get loose! Several years ago on the other side the bolt actually bent between the halves. Didn't have anti-seige years ago either.

  9. I had the 3 cushion seat from our late dad's 1066 redone by an upholstry shop. Needded the foam also. Nice thing was could select the seat materail to use plus a color pattern. I had the frames sandblasted and painted by a friend of mine. Came out very nice just had to wait some. You may want to look at tractorseats.com
  10. Make sure you get the lines correct. If not the oil won't flow.

  12. I got a couple of cans of 901 from Carquest this past summer. Any auto store should be able to find the 901 code receipt and mix for you
  13. Some people fill the post with a spray foam to deaden the sound. Doesn't really add any weight

  16. This is my brother Ed on our late dad's 1962 Farmall Diesel. It has the optional heavy tillage 3rd gera. Delivered new in January 1963 and it has always been in the family.

  18. Used our late dad's 1962 560 diesel on a tractor ride Saturday. My brother Ed restored it about 10 years ago. This 560 purchased new by our late dad has never left our family!
  19. Yes find a good body man. I had a nasty dent in the one rear fender of the 1066. Can't see any trace of it anymore!
