  1. Yes....but doesn’t help with replacement parts
  2. I wonder if forward air flow would have been on the tractors if this had all happened?
  3. My Local CaseIH dealership said no parts from Case IH.....anyone know where Mitsubishi parts would come from? What outlet would I contact for parts or overhaul kits or transmission repairs.? Is Mitsubishi have any tractors or dealers anywhere?
  4. Yes some please post, and tell if they think 466 would go into a Magnum 7000, 8900 series.
  5. When I look on line I’ve yet to see another 4x4.... they all two wheel drive
  6. This one is gear trans....where did you find the serial numbers.....I can’t figure it out, I took pic of the plate here, I think the stamped ending numbers are 93777.....I’m not sure hard to read....is yours 4x4? Wondered if there is any way to know how many MFD were made ....
  7. I drove it , it was cool....not sure what I’d use it for....garden tiller, find a mower for it...
  8. Obviously, no compete clauses are very common in all sorts of businesses
  9. What a steel 430 Million for IH! .....why did Tenneco get out anyway.....wonder how much $ they made on the sale.....
  10. I’m looking at this 244, I’ve read up on them....but I can’t find how many 4x4 models were made. Is this rare? Also any where I can find serial number Info to find out what year it is? Does anyone know if parts are readily available?
  11. But the whole town said he should’ve wrote it in red
  12. Interesting thought about a non compete......I doubt it tho....but possible.....IH could have made it a true joint venture and kept some ownership and kept their engines and maybe moved JI Case and Farmall production to one factory and made both....but it was too late....mis management was beyond repair at that time.....if they would have been out of money before JI Case was in 1969 then Tenneco would have made Case the 2nd purchase and IH would have lived on in farm equipment.
  13. I have a 682 I’d love to have a diesel in
  14. Yes, Ustain would have tried to put a Maxxforce in tractor lol.....
  15. True they had the Cummins engine joint venture already, but Navistar would have made the engine for them, it would have been a great compliment to IH. Navistar made the 466 for the combines for a couple years, until maybe 1987-89....Navistar had the history from IH of reliable Diesel engines.....they were already selling them to ford.....that would have been amazing.....that should have been in the negotiations when the sale went through.....?

  17. So it looks like on this tractor under the cab controls it’s still the same STS transmission.? I love the pics and the controls....but how do you know if the frame you have is special if under the cab it’s all the same?
  18. That family looks “unique” I can tell by the auction bill, what weird stuff they have.
  19. Sunoco was bought out....here is a copy from Sunoco webpage. Sunoco began the transformation of its business to focus on logistics and transportation fuels in 2012, when it was acquired by Texas-based Energy Transfer Partners, one of the largest natural gas and natural gas distribution companies in the US.
  20. What’s up with the top of that cab
