  1. I guess a better way to ask is this: Do I need to do both of these videos or just one: Thanks!
  2. I’m a little confused on how to adjust my MW pump on my Dt466. Do I need to adjust both the rear of the pump with the 4 bolts and the fuel screw on top under the Allen plug? Or just one or the other? Also I am assuming I have the 10mm plunger but can someone verify?
  3. Yea the pictured truck had a cab fire and a barn fall on it. Plus it’s a twin screw. Just to much going on to save really. It’s a 1966 R190 and has a 5 speed with a 4 speed brownie. It’s also got a re-enforced frame making extra heavy
  4. I found a s1700 that’s at a local auction yard That showed up today and it happens to have disk brakes to. It has a different style pump than mine; the reservoir was mounted on top but it went: pump to steering box, then to the brakes, then back to the pump. So I will go pump, steering, brakes, reservoir, then back to pump.
  5. hydraulic assist. This motor is going into a truck that will have hydraulic brakes, the truck it’s coming out of has air. I just haven’t taken the compressor off yet. The motor is coming out of the pictured truck and going into my 1948 international KB11. I’m using the axles and brake system out of a 1984 S1754 that has disk brakes. The axle donor has a 9.0l and a different pump setup than the DT466 does. I’m just trying to make them play nice.
  6. I am assuming the DT is a ‘80s model. It’s non intercooled and no electronics
  7. Well.... the dt466 is coming out of a ‘66 R190. The trans, axles, and power steering are coming out of a ‘84 S1754. All that is going into a ‘48 KB11. So there’s that...
  8. The red circle is the “pump” I’m talking about. The blue is the reservoir. Currently the top line goes into the reservoir and the side goes into a hydraulic steering assist. Im not going to use the hydraulic assist but instead use a power steering unit out of an ‘84 1754 I know picture sucks I’ll have to get a better one tomorrow
  9. I have two questions concerning my DT466 swap. I got this engine from a truck that was sitting in a field. The previous owner had at one time been restoring the truck but had passed away, and I was unable to find out what condition it was in. First question: Should I be able to turn the engine completely over by hand? I have the radiator out and was able to turn the engine with the fan blades, I turned it about 12 times. I just figured the compression would be to great to completely turn it over. Second question: Does anyone have a diagram of how to hook up the hydraulic pump to
  10. Just figured most shops wouldnt be able to source parts either and buying new would be a better option. I do think I need the injection pump went through so maybe ill just take them all down to the injection shop and see whats up. If Im going that far I might as well do the head gasket while Im there. Need to find a parts list and manual and repair manual
  11. Hey All, Im looking for someone that might still have parts available for an IH 9.0L V8 diesel. Its a 1984 in a s1754 truck. Im mainly looking for injectors. I see ebay has one, but I think thats for the tractor motor. I mainly bought this truck for the chassis and transmission. It runs actually pretty good but smokes all the time. No oil or coolant use or leaks. As far as I can see the headgasket seems alright, still havent gotten that far into it. I dont care that its a boat anchor or the worst engine ever used etc. I happen to like it ans its a little unique. Its really loud
  12. Ah dang it, I have 3 of the T35s sitting in trucks I have sitting around. Ive been leaning towards a FSO6406 but just dont care to shell out the coin. I assume I can still use my 2speed rear with any trans I put in there?
  13. Is the DT466 going to be to big for the T35? Like Torque wise?
  14. Hello All, So I believe I have a T-35 IH transmission linked to a 2 speed rear. Gas motor is trashed and I happen to have a DT466 sitting in my shop. I have read that the IH trans has its own unique bellhousing pattern; the DT466 currently has a SAE2 bolt pattern. Does any company make an flywheel housing adapter so I can use the trans and DT together? Im not worried about dog housing the cab, mounts, "how hard" the swap will be. This is for a total custom project anyways. Thanks!
  15. Im currently in the market for a medium duty International truck. Something like a 4700. I plan on making it into a trailer toter and pull my stock trailer on weekends etc. Im after model years with intercoolers and airconditioning; Im also focusing on 6 or 7 (6+1) speeds. It seems 1991+ are the better choices for those. In 1995 they switched to the DT466E. It seems that getting the computer reprogrammed on the DT466E is more than likely not going to happen and aftermarket chips/power adders I have read dont do much. I plan on doing turbo and injectors for more power but if I cant u
