  5. Been a few years since I was back in the old Country (16 years) and will be there from Mai 23 to June 16 (might stay longer but that is not for certain yet) Not sure yet but might go to a tractor show or two, or old farm machinery museums.

  8. Ursus is a complete different company, as far as I know Ursus no longer manufactures tractors, which is kinda a shame though. However I am not sure, read something a Ukrainian company took them over and plans to restart tractor production
  9. SLM tractor list price of 1954 was 9660-Fr. for the basic tractor
  10. my dad seen one of them SLM tractors when he was a kid, he said they liked to make wheelies when a heavy load was hitched to the back.
  11. early SLM version similar to the Mafag crawler style steering, later models had the front wheel steering, but the other one was kept until production ended, early ones had a 3 forward and one reverse, and the last models from the 50s had 5 forward and one reverse
  12. The Price of a JRU or later Universal was 5500 Fr. (Swiss francs) in 1929 a Mafag tractor which was the successor model of the single wheel drive tractor was first 2900 Fr. later 3800 Fr another 700 Francs extra if one wanted Rubber tires!
  13. The very last SLM tractor series looked like this: The Price of a New SLM tractor in the 1938 was around 5900 Swiss francs not sure how much it was in the 1950 to 1953 (time frame of the one in the video was made) cost. The Swiss franc was 5 times lower than the dollar around this time.
  14. always enjoyed his videos, I think he did mention that they might make now and again a update video! maybe someone made a nasty comment on his second last video cause he turned the comments off for that one, I seen that happen before to a Rancher from Alberta Canada, I just hope its not that I wish Pete and his family all the best
