Leupold is my go to scope; although, I do own some other brands. I have a Leupold 2x9 muzzle loader/shotgun scope with the Duplex reticle on my muzzle loader with Leupold quick detach mounts. Always returns to zero when I remove it for gun cleaning. I have always been successful in low light conditions and no issues in the woods.

Upon further research, it appears to be a Case model S. Was available in various widths from 7' 1" to 13" 9", and with 18" standard blades with 20" available. I searched for J I Case disc harrow and found what appears to be a Case u tube clip about it. Model "number" was not identified until the end of the video. Sorry, I don't know how to add the clip here. I did not try to locate parts list information.

I just saw a disk listed as a John Deere disk on Marketplace that looks identical to your photo. No ID numbers or much description. The hitch assembly looks the same as yours. For what it's worth, it does have remnants of green paint. Maybe this will help you in the right direction????

I had an Uncle (passed away at age 63) with Alzheimer's. He had quit talking, but understood everything said. My aunt and cousins had realized that he really didn't need to be driving any more. It's a small rural, Southern Illinois county where everyone knows everyone-- not any traffic lights in the whole county. They talked with the County Sheriff who then talked to my Uncle. The sheriff basically told him that he should not be driving and asked for his license. My Uncle handed them over and that was that. No issue. Would not have gone so well if a family member had tried that. So he walked after that. If he decided to go somewhere, he would walk even 6-8 miles. Later (Months or years?), my Uncle was in the nursing home. He decided to "Explore". Went outside and walked through the parking lot until he found a car with doors unlocked and keys in the ignition. Nursing home was about 40 miles from their home. 200 miles, and 6 hours or so, later he ran out of gas and was about a miles from home. They found him just sitting in the car waiting. When they talked with him about, it he just laughed. Rather than a family member trying to limit, or restrict their freedom, an official like a Dr. or Sheriff, will probably have a better chance of convincing them of the right thing to do.

I can't figure out how to copy from another post or quote a link, but: Grassfarmer 75 has a post on Mar 20, 2025 (same subject as yours) with some information about the 2000 loader mounts. I have the 2 brackets shown as numbers 1 & 2 in 7and8and1456's response to his question. I took them off of a 560 and do/did not have the loader or any other brackets/parts. If they will help you, they are yours for shipping (or pickup).

Speed Queen. Our OLD Maytag finally gave it up and a Friend (who is an appliance repair/service man) of our daughters said Speed Queen is the best now. Expensive up front, but that's what we got. Our Old Maytag was of the best generation -- was probably over 25 years old.

Check the bearing at the front end of the steering shaft. Normal steering action puts a lot of end ways stress on that bearing. My 51 m had that shimmy bad until the bearing got wore so bad the balls came out of the races. A new bearing from Napa fixed the shimmy problem.

Good question. I don't recall any details about that, but wonder if the water pump may have interfered with the old steering???

The next page following DWV's post in Guy Fay's book (Farmall Tractors in the 1950"s) states: "The new engine required a new radiator grille and fuel tank assemblies to accommodate the higher capacity radiator needed to cool the larger engine. A new water pump and revised steering were also added." Kenneth Updike also addresses this in his book "Classic Farmall Tractors". He discusses the addition of the water pump, a thermostat, and a temperature gauge. Also, he states, a larger, taller radiator, a new hood, and grille were made. I don't know about the Red Power articles. I only have access to my recent copies of Red Power. The older ones are currently in storage and not easily accessed.

Only made right hand turns when pulling a load?

There are numerous options out there. Do the research and if possible look through some. Thermal is similar to regular scopes in that quality makes a difference. You'll see the difference in quality if you can look through some. And, as said before, DO NOT point it toward the sun.

I have a Pulsar Thermion XP50. I have it mounted on a 204 Ruger. It will reach out there. It was expensive, but I managed to work about 20% off the list price. Yeah, I'd do it again. The image is not as sharply defined at the higher magnifications, but Technology has probably improved a lot during the 5 years since I bought mine. Very easy to tell the difference between a deer and a coyote at distances I can't hit. I'm not as stable as I used to be, gotta use a rest to hold steady. I've never looked through a night vision one, so can't compare. I went thermal based on recommendations from others who had viewed both.

I don't remember the brand of tires which were on mine-probably were not the same. In thinking about it, the rim widths may have been other than the normal width, which may have altered the height some.

I, also, used to have a white cab 1466 with loaded 23.1 X 34's. It also had 18.4 X 38 duals. Don't remember what size the fronts were. But the duals and main rears were real close to the same height - if not the same. All 4 tires only had about 50% tread. Even with that, traction was not a problem. That was one sweet sounding/running tractor. A/C didn't work, so the doors had been removed before I got it. It developed some other issues so I sold it and got something with a good functioning A/C. Sorry for not responding sooner. I did get the Vevor ultra sonic cleaner and have used it some. I turn the heat on and let it warm up first, then turn on the unit. So far I'm pleased with it.
