It was once said (regarding elections) "As Maine goes, so goes the nation", BUT we are now seeing how "The People's Republic of California" is able to dictate policy (on EVERY subject) that the other 49 states are forced to accept and follow. I, too, fail to understand how ONE state can control interstate commerce coming into that state, whether it be laws pertaining to animal husbandry, trucking coming into the state, the abrogation of decades old guarantees regarding the water RIGHTS of agriculture. California IS a cancer that has proven itself deadly to American industry, traditional American values, and almost anything that affects the daily life of the rest of REAL America.5 points

6/13/22 Carol and I left home for our first leg of trip to Ohio . We in Hendersen Nv visiting my daughter . 6/15/22 we are in Gallup NM . an observation of hiway traffic so far , I would guesstimate traffic at about 10% above pandemic days of shut down . trucks are working hard many packs on roads and every fuel stop with parking is loaded with trucks , Also miles of trains loaded with double stacked 40 ft containers ! So industry is moving but cars , pickups , Rv’s really noticeable , we counted five class A’s DP ‘s and about same in fifth wheels From Fresno to Gallup NM . Last year when we went to RPRU in Da Quoin we had to reserve RV parks head of time they were packed so far no problem . Just fyi could all change when we get to Amarillo . few pics of so far .last pic was leaving home , then parked at daughters cul da Sac. My daughter Tammi , Carol , Brooke my Granddaughter ,my three loves of my life ! Brooke is really into volleyball and driving her 300U at cafes parades . tony3 points

That is why we have taught Carol to drive , I get a rest and nap , keeps me going . I never thought in December of 21 we would be doing this again ! I give thanks every nite praying for you clearance soon ! I really just got doc approval in April cus I told them I had a show to put on in Tulare ! Lol tony3 points

Sounds like my wife. Her attention span seems to be about 2 weeks on most new activities. If you have young kids we've found it's fun to put hot wheels, toy tractors, trucks, anything with wheels on and watch them spin. They do dent the drywall if you let them go at high speed.3 points

What a mess we have on so many levels. I hope we can get everything back to a more normal situation. Unfortunately many people love drama... especially the news media.3 points

You cannot get a U-Haul in California. But they will almost give you one in Texas if heading to California. The Great Migration is now headed East.2 points

Lot of the stuff going on in CA is because of referendum vote. Like a lot of their taxes. They convince the middle class that the wealthy are going to be the ones paying the taxes. And the voters believe it. Sorry. I have no sympathy for the people who vote themselves into poverty. Or crime for that matter. Maybe these people should think about moving to another area? The first thing a business has to do is make a profit. With out that the business fails and everyone is out of work. So if a state taxes a business to the point they cannot compete the business either fails or moves. Rick2 points

If they were thinking they could have took the tongue off and mounted the ball coupler to the center ripper and had a hydraulic adjustable hitch 😁2 points

I saw a video one time of a guy using a treadmill to put firewood in the basement of his house he had the treadmill pointed at a open window which I assume went to his wood storage. He put the wood on the rapidly spinning treadmill and it in turn threw it through the open window. Saving the guy from having to bend down and throw the wood through the window.2 points

Monday I started brakes on my trailer they have been suggestions for a little while (7-8 years..) pulled the hubs of Monday went and got parts. Got home got one hub on and my friend needed help sandbagging. Today I finished the project. Trailer brakes get spendy fast. But hopefully good for another few years. Tomorrow recover from this week and requote this fence. It's on its way to the gulf of Mexico. I have so much better tools this time it should go much better.2 points

Damm---- I had some figures on pressure per square inch from just standing water applied against a wall . At 4 or 5 ft depth it was unbelievable. With the current pushing as illustrated in Maders first pictures ----psi would be double unbelievable. Think about the power that would be needed if pushing that rock down the street in the picture. Looks like the "operator" had some real talent to leave it that smooth!!! That Montana water will be heading this way------42% of U.S. flows down the Mississippi. We may see another high stage on the Mississippi. (just got low enough to plant soybeans on some riverside cropland nearby). I am located 12 miles south of Greenville----elevation 115/116 ft. That happened here in '19 "sort of" with a 30" heavy wet snow then a couple of days later heavy rain melted it. Huge chunks of river ice the size of houses in the Niobrara river did a lot of damage to Northern and Eastern Nebraska. Had a thread in the old Coffee Shop but search wouldn't pull it up. Must be "water under the bridge".....................😏1 point

I just picked up this barn-find Super 77 in January and fixed it up to my liking. It was a two owner tractor originally purchased here in town. I spent hours cleaning and polishing the paint after removing surface rust, and had some "Oliver" decals made that look like they have been on there since 1955. Of course I spent countless hours going over the mechanicals and fixing everything up to be Field Ready. It was a really fun project to resurrect this winter. I always wanted one...1 point

It was at last loose .oh and I had a 20 ton jack on top and a portapower on bottom and didn’t break anything but the portapower ear .1 point

Remove the 7/8 plug on the rear of the MCV valve and crank the engine until the oil pukes out. Replace the plug. See if that primes the steering. Is it an 856 Custom?1 point
