  1. So in my area you canโ€™t find any 9MM shells anywhere. what's up with that ?

  2. My old 89 GMC has never had a muffler since I bought it and was getting on my nerves and then I ran over a limb in the pasture and knocked the catalytic converter off so it was really loud. I put it up on the ramps and got the cat back on and measured to see what size muffler I needed. 3" , but the only thing available close by was a glass pack for $83, online was $27. Looked around and found some pipe and and a spare tractor muffler. A little fitting and some bronzing and a muck quieter pickup.

  4. Hasn't been a box of 9mm, or anything else for that matter, on a shelf in this area since the "intellectual elites" started hoarding TP in February/March. I'm guilty of hoarding shells as well. I figured if people were freaking out over toilet paper it's going to get real scary when there is no food on the shelves.

  5. i helped the neighbor put on new door hinges and mount drivers door ( way too heavy for one guy to do ) installed a new gas tank, new fuel sender, he had done all new brake lines and all new brakes already, new master cylinder, the i started on teh fuel pump with him, the NOS one lasted overnight and possibly the ethanol ate into the sealant around the diaphragm and it was coming apart today. We tried the old original and it wouldnt work, then tried taking some parts out of a dual plunger unit but it wouldnt adapter either the diaphragm throw was too long on it. SO, we converted over to negati

  9. This is our 1958 CJ6. We call it Farm Jeep Willy. It has more parts by weight on it from IH stuff than Jeep parts. The rear axle is from a 1210 (narrowed Dana 60). The front axle and transfer case (Dana 44 and 20) are from a Scout. Heck, even the ignition switch is from that 1210. I made the frame from 2x5x1/4" box tube and had it galvanized. The body is from Aqualu (aluminium). The engine was one my buddy had laying around, 225 Buick v6 like they put in 60s era Jeeps. Trans from a wrecker that my friend was scrapping (SM465). It used to be half made out of plywood when we got it, kept i

  11. This past Saturday afternoon baled up the last of the dry hay we had ready to bale last week. Baled fifty or square bales of third cutting to finish filling up where I we put the last load of squares. Anyhow we park the gooseneck trailer and square baler next to each other and I cover the baler with bag plastic and hang tires off of it to secure it. But before I covered it there was part of a round bale on the trailer from the day before with no netwrap on it so decided to year it apart and put it through the square baler so I'd have something to feed in the barn. Folded it out and got it clos

  22. Here's a couple pics to help you visualize how its built. Granted this is on a 656 Hydro, but they are basically the same tractor. There is no need to make fancy adapters and other things to "make it work". The original design worked just fine for 50 years, why change it now?? Why is the oil pickup tube above the height of the full oil level?? That way when you change the filter it doesn't drain the whole transmission. What a pain in the butt that would be.... So the pickup is inserted into the rear housing. It shouldn't be floppy loose in there. There's a "quad ring" tha

  23. C`mon. How difficult is it to slow/yield/move over for someone. It`s not the Gumball Rally. I always try to accommodate the trucks. Never drove one but have spent countless days riding with my sons and BIL. And their greatest danger is the morons in 4 wheelers.

  25. What an amazing project. A grand total of 750hrs to make this O-4 look absolutely amazing. I am very happy with the end result on this one. I am really hoping all this nonsense ends soon so I can get this thing to a show. I won second place in our local competition and now I am entered in the Delo national competition. With that being said I need everyone's help. Please go to https://delotrcvoting.com/Voting/Details?entryId=147 and vote for Josh Jorgensen. You can vote 3 times every 24 hours. 26. I agree if the Russians had any proof it would have been shown on the news world wide just like the dragon lady was. I don't think the Russians had anything close to shooting one down, At 90k feet and a little extra speed they would out run any sam . Seems like the Russian foxbat was their only hope.

  27. One thing that I have thought that was the most remarkable thing in the Blackbird program is that, to my knowledge, a Blackbird was never lost due to being shot down or suffering mechanical problems over unfriendly territory. I know the Russians in recent years claimed to have shot one down in the 1980s, but the US has never confirmed that. I sure think if any of our enemies had downed one, they would show it to the world just like the Russians did with Francis Gary Powers when they shot down his U-2 in the late 1950s. To have that kind of success speaks volumes to the plane designers, the pil

  38. Funny, this is probably the worst smoke I've seen in my entire life. Haven't seen blue sky for a week. Visibility down to 3/4 mile here. Ash on my truck every morning. Fires in wash/ Oregon not to mention a big one east of me. We can all blame who we want to, it's nature taking care of it's forests. Aside of idiots starting these, it's going to happen if we can't manage the forests. How's that spotted owl now??? Been in plenty of old growth forests. Nothing grows there. No under brush for deer/elk, or???? Not even new generation trees. Nature will take care of things if we don't. M
