  5. I will add a Vote for the Rem 870. Find an older used one if you can. I feel like the older ones are made a little better than a new one but I also believe that to be true for almost any gun out there. The double barrel is cool but everyone can see how many shots you have. A normal pump gun holds 5 without a plug in it. With plug holds 3. Below is my go to 870. Of all my shotguns I go to this one first. Purchased well used several years ago. 12 gauge wingmaster. It had some rust on it and wasn’t pretty. Lots of WD-40 and a good internal checkup and here it sits. Rock solid reliable and could d

  6. Well if I don't get stupid and try to go cut around some water holes in the horse pasture, I am done mowing! Bout darn time too. Had some to put up before I ventured into the duck pond. Fell asleep raking, the "pop" of the post I broke off with the rake brought me out of peaceful slumber though. ? Guess the Harmonic hum of the old 656 Hydro lullibyed me right to sleep. And I darned near made the turn? Anyway the next few pics are the last of it on the last meadow. It was under water last year and I was surprised I got in and got it cut. Good old trusty rust Hesston 6650 g

We have one 15 model gas and it started acting up guy driving it said it barely made it across the farm then it wouldn't start back the powers to be called a roll back to take it back to a dealer to put it on there machine it was doing so really odd stuff right before it laid down. I got the rollback driver on the farm showed him were it was and he loaded it up and i asked him if he had a invoice for me he grabbed it out of the cab hande

  17. All good points. The mini’s are staggered with full size rounds. Think I went from six to nine rounds. I’m not racking it dry to check. The shotgun is in the safe with the pill bottle Over the muzzle indicating loaded. Not the first thing I’ll lay my hand to. Fact being if you have time to get to the safe and open it that becomes a whole nuther kettle of fish. On shooting someone and reaction under fire. That’s in large part a function of training. Not military training, not LEO training because you are neither and will be investigated as such. Best idea is not to posture a

  19. My concern is how he77 bent powers that be seem to want people to get this future vaccine. A study released a week or two ago showed that countries using hydroxychloroquine, zink, Z pack combo as early treatment have had a 79% lower death rate than countries that have shunned it. Almost 80%! The HXC has safely been in use for 60 yrs, you have a far greater chance of dying from covid than suffering the possible side effects of HXC. Yet, this treatment has been run down, smeared, even banned in some places. Doctors have been threatened loss of license if they prescribe it..... Why? Just bec

  22. Agree 99% most shotguns are cumbersome to load and very very dangerous to leave loaded, they also don’t fit in a dealer or biometric box very well. So I certainly see an advantage to a handgun that can be unloaded and loaded in a second via magazine or locked in a drawer vs a loaded shotgun in the corner for those with kids around. My drawer has a 1911 in it, I also have a tac-14 on my way to the door. If it’s just my brother raiding my refrigerator, I have a Winchester 12 ga pump with rubber riot rounds...haven’t tried that on him..yet

  25. can be bought cheap firsthand too, I have a Remington Tac-14, and I bought dad a Mossberg Shockwave, a friend was looking into the bargain basement variety, ill say to you what I said to him, if you want to save money, cut out a trip for coffee in the morning or buy the store brand oatmeal, if you really intend to defend your home and your life, buy a good quality shotgun, its not worth saving 100 Bucks to have the thing fail in the heat of the moment. id rather have a 400 dollar shotgun that a 200 dollar club because it was a good deal.

  32. To be honest, $5,000 doesn’t sound horrible in order to save a tractor. I mean yes it’s a lot of money, but at least it’s feasible for less than what the tractor is worth. It’s kinda like the $3,000 sentry modules for the 88 series tractors. Sometimes you’re just glad You can find the part!!

  33. Finished mine up in June. Got 1 field a second time 3 weeks ago with a lot of clover in it. If it will start raining will try to cut everything again this fall. First year since I bought my cows back that I'm looking good on hay. Had to scrape by the last couple of years.

  34. I have a Remington 870 express. My parents gave it to me for Christmas at 1 time, probably 30 years ago. Super reliable and can be bought cheap. I love hand guns, but when I see people who have no experience with guns wanting a hand gun for home defense I shake my head. Aside from handling in close quarters I think the shot gun would be so much better for home defense, especially for someone with no experience shooting a hand gun.

  35. you and your family are speeding through my country having a slow time playing license plate bingo. And come up behind me roading my tractor and baler You can stop me to visit but you don't need to stop me to tell me I have a pipe sticking out of my baler?? It is there to separate the belts so I can see through them to see you so I can pull over and let you by.? Now, I'd hate to watch a whole Bruce Willis movie through that hole but it works for a fairly quick glance to see if someone is behind me. Only reason I bring this up is I got stopped twice today and tol

Best case outcome we will have a short tailed happy healthy golden retriever. I don’t have to explain the worst case ?. Hopefully she comes through it ok. Not sure if they’ll do it today yet or tomorrow morning. They want to do some dental work while she’s under. She’s around 10 years old now so not a young pup anymore.

Hopefully next Wednesday. we think we have plunger all set , we cycled the knotter, looks to be very close . we took apart all that we thought needed more shims And shimmed up . Every Thing seems to align with shimming . one minor set back is we removed needle cradle after I realized the brake pad “groves” are not suppose to be there . Lol . they looked so good I thought they were factory all this time .Lol . So we will be cutting those off and replacing new metal pads. Probably for the best David

Crossing a state line.... papers please. Think it can't happen? It's all in the name of public health and completely legal under that guise.

  47. I commented at length over in MTO's topic on the subject. I smell too many rats to trust anything about this situation. My opinion on whether they can make this vacc mandatory is they won't have to. Look at the current shaming, even physical assault you will endure for not wearing a mask in a public place. I'm convinced the timing of these mask mandates is a contrived plan to generate outrage aimed at those who resist. All that's missing now is forehead tattoos.
