  1. Back a few weeks ago I stumbled upon an online auction with some really nice pieces!! Some old seed company signs, 1/16 scale toys, and one thing I just couldn’t pass up!! It’s not every day you have a chance to get something like this, and I knew no matter the price, it was coming to my small collection!!! 60’s-70’s dealership coat, with yes, the gentleman’s name on it. My name is Blaine also I was chasing this coat to the end if needed!!! My wife thinks this is just the coolest thing ever!!

  7. A few years ago I posted a picture titled small, medium and large. At the time I promised I would try to do better. These tractors have belonged to my family and to me for 40 to 60+ years. I could round up pictures of all of these still working and also a 756 if anyone is interested. A park ranger chewed me out for not having a permit to take the pictures. An old farmer from New Hampshire rescued me and asked the ranger if he didn't have anything better to do. He thought the ranger was jealous because everybody was stopping to see the tractors instead of the mountains.

  12. My vote is a 1086. 130hp but handy enough to do small jobs. I use mine for spraying, planting, side dressing, bush hogging and even to get round bales since it's my only cab tractor. Mine shifts easy and the cab is comfortable. However my 1456 is still my favorite.

  13. That is one heck of a find ! Besides it being a great style with your name on it. It appears to be in tremendous shape. Enjoy, But I am afraid you just got infected with long memorabilia collection . Don't ask why I say that. Congratulations, Tony

  14. Our 1486 is under 4000 hrs.....had a ring gear and pinion early in life, other than that just maintenance. Not a longevity record, but a low hour one!

  22. That has been a God send for sure, even for the cost. Doing my private at home we never had anything like that, but we didn’t have much traffic at all. Since I’ve come up to school, the amount of traffic is insane and ADS-B is a lifesaver for sure up here. Even though we’re not moving anywhere as fast, spotting traffic is easier and helps maintain situational awareness.

  24. Buying a used Hydro is no different than buying a nice looking 66-88 series tractor that could dump her antifreeze in the engine oil the day it's brought home. Ta fail right away or on a 50 series have the transmission take a dump unloading it off the truck. Unless paperwork is involved with recent work orders for repairs, your buying used and taking a chance. I've done it many times and so far have had good luck but there's always that chance something expensive can happen quickly.

  31. I replaced it today, the new starter seems like it is good quality, it started very enthusiastically, I shut it off a few times and it started almost too quickly. I AM however going to order a terminal crimper I need to be able to make my own cables.
