  1. Got tired of "Chinese'iem" box store steel targets I had laying around....wouldnt hold up to basic 22LR and less than 1/8" steel. Son was off for winter break, so I fired up the mig, handed it to him and said, "I'll cut, you weld". He did good, and some scrap metal from other projects turned out some new spinners. This time in 1/4".

  3. The truck is my newest shop truck , it's a 1968 Model 1200 that I had to have because of the 4 door . It was on an auction 10 min from my house and when I seen it the vision popped into my head ? I bought the truck and then I started looking for a newer drivetrain and found a 1998 Dodge 1 ton Dually , Cummins/12 valve , 5 speed manual 4x4 . The Dodge was just broke in , only had 368,000 miles , I pulled the cabs off both trucks and tested my skill set , built the flatbed , well it's been another really fun project and I get a lot of compliments every where we go with it .

  4. Great thread--------great pictures. The famous horse Wrangler doesn't have any fancy pedigree papers------just his Coggins and vaccination papers.. But we will take him like he is-------All Horse. He is 20 now-------lost vision in his right eye and has recently come down with some urinary problems that we are treating him for. Great to see the little children with the horses. We originally bought him for the grandchildren------he has always been fascinated with the little ones. And-----grampa and gramma have been fascinated with him--------he is just a big

  7. My neighbor was a draft horse guy. Th e team was used mostly for light farming operations -----parades etc. As they got older the were mostly pets. One day when he came home from work one of the team was missing. He found him on a hill in the pasture laying under a large tree. He got his backhoe and buried him their. One year to the day the other horse was missing. He found him laying on the grave of his deceased partner.-----A true story----I still get teared up when I tell of it.

  8. I belong to a large burb church, its full of law enforcement members and undercover attenders and our pastor is always packing, he is a former SWAT sergeant. Many members of our church are CCW licensed. We encourage CCW in our church. If someone were to do something foolish like this fellow did, it would be a poor decision.

  9. Unloading at FT Rob The gray horse only had 17 rides when Lisa took him out there. That is the perfect branding for a young green horse. Not a lot of people, and the ones that are there will help you with a young horse, other then the real dudes, from Denver. I think she drug 5 or 6 calves with him, then went to riding my old Wonder horse. No he wasn't wonder, like wonder woman. I owned him for 3 years before I ever saw him, and wondered what he looked like. The name stuck. They have to use 2 branding stoves, since they serial number all the calves. Remember this is a Nebraska

  10. My neighbors just arrived home from fishing up north, seen their fish house pulled in behind a truck other than their own. I went over to see what's up. Yesterday morning, they pulled the house up to head home. Weather conditions were pretty bad, low visibility off and on due to blowing snow. Apparently they came upon a scene where someone had gone in the ditch, truck #2 was on the shoulder trying pull #1 out. A #3 truck stopped in southbound traffic lane to help. A #4 truck stopped in northbound lane to gawk, effectively blocking any place for traffic to pass. Neighbor said he

  12. Yes it does Tila. It matters. It matters to whites if they`re white... it matters to blacks if they`re black... it matters to jews if they`re jews... it matters to christians/athiests/muslums/ and yes, it matters to us all. Downplay differences all you want, we`re all different.... but the same. We are all in the same game, life, but we are all holding different cards. And sometimes we call.

  14. Santa dropped off a new 2020 Midsota 32' trailer last week ? After pulling Tony's trailer out in California and my good friends trailer here in Minnesota I had to get one . Hyd beaver tail , hyd jacks , 12,000 axels , it has PPG paint with 2 two year warranty . When I got home with it I rinsed it off and this trailer is really built and the paint is unbelievable, bottom, top , perfect , these trailers are built here in Minnesota.

  16. We picked this one up last year. He’s got doc bar in Him on both sides. Hoping he’ll make a good head horse. I call him Charley This is one of my better head horses. Won a lot of money and saddles on his back and another heavy bred doc bar horse. I picked her up cheap for a practice horse cause she’s another one that takes an experienced rider. She’s one of the faster ones I’ve had over the years and I don’t remember ever being outran on her. Little goofy and I call her h3ll b!tch. My mom doesn’t like that and calls her Hillary. I’ll let you figure out where that name came from.

  18. Sorry i'm a little late to the party. Hope all went well and you'll be up and raising cane in no time. The only teeth I'm missing were removed quickly and successfully by a big ol white bull that I tied myself to with a grass rope (long time ago). ? It didn't take me long to figure out I was not going to be the next Donnie Gay? I think your choice of tooth removal is much smarter than mine?

  21. I had a similar situation happen this past weekend. I was pulling our new to us 30' Great Plains Turbo Till home with our 4900 from about 125 miles away. First leg of the trip from Kentucky to the US 51 bridge in Cario IL was uneventful and was able to block off the bridge and get the tool across without any issue. Thought the worst part of the trip was over. Less than 2 miles later just as we are coming out of Cario I blow a tire on the passenger side of the main frame on the turbo till. Problem was that even though I had the windows down with no radio on, I didn't hear it. My dad was followi

  22. My plate hangs from chains much like a swing set would on a stand. If I did it all over again I would use rubber belting or something like that vs the chain. I set it out several hundred yards sometimes and a rifle bullet will cut a chain but not rubber belting. Stand is made from re-bar. Hit it with a fresh coat of marking paint before you start and hits show up nicely, even at several hundred yards.

  25. I made an 8” square swinger from 1/2” plate. It will take anything short of rifle rounds at close range. Traded up to an AR-500 plate silhouette now that stops about anything. It sits 27 yards from the back door. I figure if you can dump a semi-auto clip quickly into that target at 27 yards you are doing just fine. Your targets look very nice.

  28. Apparently, two churchgoers and the gunman were shot. As far as motivation for the killing, I haven't found anything yet, but the Jews that were attacked recently while celebrating Hanukkah by the machete wielding black guy was motivated by the fact he was a recent Muslim convert according to a news story I just read. Found this video on an internet search about the Texas church shooting. It is not blurred, but because the security camera is on the other side of the church, it doesn't show anything very graphic other than the guns going off and three people dropping to the ground. Sad deal, b

  30. Yeah. Seen after I posted that one wasn't true. Glad he was there and a good shot. I never feel bad for carrying. If somebody doesn't like it I don't care. Who they gonna come running to if it hits the fan. Bet it ain't somebody that thinks guns kill people. It's gonna be the guy that's got one and knows how to use it.

  33. I seen a detailed full video of the shooting, he killed one then wounded another, do not know how the wounded is, it was a hard video to watch all you could hear was the victim's daughter screaming daddy. I watched the video 30 times now and it shows how important training is, anyone even a little fast could have taken out the killer before he became a killer, but everyone hesitated until the first shot. Be trained he ready amd dont hesitate, if they got a gun in a church you shoot first not them
