  4. Bussiness expo this weekend along with mom, dad and brother being out. Dad is constantly tired. But managed to find a photographer to take some family pictures it has been a good but hard weekend. Really wish dad would stop worrying about getting rid of his stuff and enjoy his remaining good days. I guess I've never been in his shoes. Prayed for them in my church group today. Going to be really hard to see them leave.

  5. It’s that time of year again where we are getting show pigs we pretty much have them all now. This year we won’t have any durocs like what’s shown in this January 1955 ad but I’ve always liked that breed....partly because their red? Here is an ad from Case with “America’s Handiest 2-plow tractor” I’m my sure what Case tractor is up front this is also from 1955

  9. Kitchen stoves were made to cook, bake, and some would heat water. They would also help warm up the room, but probably not heat it well in cold weather. They were also used in “summer kitchens”.

  10. Everything is a B that I can see.. I would guess that the serial plate was stamped wrong in the factory. It's a B grill, steering box and shaft, left side axle extension and drawbar all would be different if it was an A

  11. If you wouldn't have said anything I would have never spotted it but you did kind of throw the challenge out there for us. Maybe I was the only one gullible enough to accept it. Anyways like I said earlier it turned out really nice and will be a very functional addition to the tractor when it's done.

  13. Its getting a bit late in the season for snowmobile ads but I'll post this one for John Deere's top of the line Liquifire 440 for 1977. It was a big, heavy and powerful machine compared to some of the lightweights like my 340 Kawasaki.

  15. I don't know where the Professor and Roger (the University) are. I got bored here in class and went to the shop and pulled out some more scrap iron and have been making a 3 pt hitch for my lift pole that I have had set up to mount on the rear of the watermelon truck. Sorta got it tacked in place today. Setting it up so to mount onto the 2090 Case's quick hitch. Will park it on the rear of the TD-14 (which doesn't appear to be going a anywhere soon). Ways to go yet------but beginning to take shape. Everything is from "in stock inventory"------beats the hel! out of hauling it to the scrap yard. And-------should be handy in handling more rusty/dusty scrap iron!!!? DD
