How does a person post pictures from an iPhone?

You will need the Photobucket app. Get it at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photobucket-backup-print-shop/id314439840?mt=8 iPad users use the same app, and these instructions will work for you too.

When you open the Photobucket app, you should see something like this. Tap the plus sign (the area I have circled in green)

Now let's upload a photo. Tap the Upload button.

Tap Camera Roll

Now tap the photo(s) you want to upload. Those with check marks will be uploaded. Tap the blue next button in the upper right

Tap "Your Bucket", then tap Upload

Now Tap the photo you want to share. Tap the circle in the area I've circled in black

3. Tap the area I've circled in green. You should see a message that says "Link copied"

4. Now open Safari. Go to the forum, create either a new post or a reply. Double tap in the text box, then tap Paste. Your picture will then appear

Hope this helps!

??? I want to see the pic in the post. Not the link to it.https://www.flickr.com/gp/147625273@N08/rUCu48 why isn't the image showing up?

I have had the same problem with Photobucket since accidentally upgrading to iOS 10 whatever about a month ago. The image link won't work without deleting part of the Internet code associated with the image. It must start with http I figured out and then the pic will show but you will have some extra garbage to go back and delete. Remove the % signs and things at the beginning so that http comes first and you will see what I mean. Don't know any more than that unfortunately. Maybe BJ will have an idea?

Thanks BJ.  I thought it was just photobucket not being caught up with the current iOS version but maybe you can make exceptions in the background of the site that allow the picture to post properly.  Hadn't thought about that angle.

Test with iPhone app

Looks like the app is the problem.

If you remove the %5BURL= You will get this http://s144.photobucket.com/user/Stledger83/media/IH 1086 Grandpa/4E7AB23D-B686-4703-BF9D-2AF780738A67_zpsze3lunpx.jpg.html]4E7AB23D-B686-4703-BF9D-2AF780738A67_zps[/URL]

picture with extra filler on either end. I have been deleting all that out after posting a pic and that takes a while. Hope the example helps.  This is using an iPhone, iOS version 10.2.1 the 10.1.1 gave me the same issues.

Since Photobucket doesn't allow linking to third party sites anymore I am going to lock this topic. I will post instructions for using the forums built in uploader.
