THE INTERNATIONAL GOLD DEMONSTRATOR'S (Post Your Pics)

Recommended Posts

You know, I'm going to have to go check my grandpa's old 806 (it's my grandma's now, as he's passed, but it mainly just sits). I recall working on it a few years back (we used to have to work on it a lot XD) but I seem to recall remarking that it had been painted a different color at one point in time as I had pulled some of the sheet metal and saw a different color... but it's been a while. I'll have to go check tomorrow. It's funny how something can be neglected, then suddenly peak curiosity. I'm just starting to put my grandpa's old B through a rebuild as no one's touched it in over a decade. Still, I'm betting most people (like my own family) just used it like a tool and never gave a second thought to any potential collectibility. Of course, for things like the B, there's a great pool of memories of such a great little tractor.

That being said, I much preferred the 706 to the 806, so I never payed special attention to it, other than bemoaning the unending rust in the gas tank and the brakes that vanish if it happens to die XD

Did they make a 2806 industial. That could have been painted yellow and repainted.

Hello everyone, years ago I sold an 826 Hydro and I have recently started looking to find it. The s/n is 14450. If anyone could contact me with any leads or information that would be great. Thank you!

BJ, am I the only guy having aggravation with this site? Half the time I get a"this page not available" notice, or it just takes for ever to load. I'm not having problems with any other site. BK

Well we are supposed to be changed over to a new web hosting provider by April 15. I don't have a more defiant date but that could be the issue you're seeing Bill.

Out in the light of day. I've mentioned this before, but this particular tractor has the two-foot pedal controls for forward/reverse movement, as opposed to the single lever up near the dash. BK
