hi all ,i am not sure if this has been discussed before , i am about to purchase a 706 farmall , and i am sure the pump is stuffed , wont start when its hot , i am just wondering if there is any cure for this problem ,like an aftermarket pump , or adapting something different , or maybee the can fix the old pump , i am just wondering of other peoples experiences with this delama,,, thanks pat

There are Stanadyne replacment kits out there. We had a guy in our area that used a bosch VE model pump like the late 80's early 90's 1st Gen 5.9 liter cummins used. That is basically an update from the Bocsh VA pump that you have.
