The Wheatland Edition was an option package on a standard International that included T/A delete, clamshell fenders with full platform & rear step, one hydraulic outlet, and a Wheatland badge/sticker on the front radiator panel. Early '06 Wheaties had a panel with no hole for the T/A lever, the later ones and the '56 Wheatlands used the same panel as other machines with the hole for the lever...just no linkage.
I don't believe there was a 706 Wheatland Edition, just 806 and 1206 in the '06 years.
General rule of thumb...if it's got a T/A then it's not a Wheatland.
And yep, it would look better with a set of clamshells on it. Looks like just a quickie spray job too with those white emblems and red rims.
