1915 1hp Mogul Almost Ready For RPRU

4 posts in this topic

I finished reassembling the engine last night, and by adjusting everything to the manual specs, she fired right up. The Skid is made out of Oak from the IH Factory Blueprints (Thanks Guy), The wheels, axle blocks, and axle caps came from Cattail Foundry in PA, and the front legs were made from a jig I designed off of the original blueprints. Now to get the Decals for the water hopper, adjust the speed a bit slower, finish the Titan Jr just in time for the RPRU

Here is the Mogul running with my favorite engine, a 1915 1.5hp Economy E. The Mogul runs silky smooth compared to the Hit & Miss Economy.

Both engines look and sound great! Please post pictures and video of the Titan Jr too! Here's a picture of my 1Hp Mogul I worked on this past winter.

Great to see this old engine beautifully restored.

It is a shame that there isn't more discussion on this forum about the MOGUL & TITAN stationary engines. :)
