So Friday I had to deal with a snake problem and the tool of choice was the 12 gauge. I was in between two piles of hay and essentially shooting right at the ground in front of me. 3 shots later and my ears were ringing like normal. Typically after a few minutes everything is back to normal and I’ve shot a lot of small game with this gun without hearing problems. This time my left ear kept ringing and was actually hard to hear out of, almost like I had water in it. By the next afternoon everything was good but have a faint high pitched ring in my ear. Now it’s monday and it’s still there. From what I’ve read online typically lasts between a few minutes and a lifetime, so that’s not much help. Anyone else experience something similar? Anything you can do or just deal with it?
