  1. Stay or evacuate

    Not being in hurricane/tornado alleys, our biggest threat here from mother nature would probably be blizzard or ice storms. Neither, imo, are as bad as hurricanes or tornadoes. I would have to say that if I lived in a danger zone and the people who "know" say it`s gonna get bad, I`d exit stage left. Now, if I had stock/animals that needed care, as I do, I`d MAYBE stick it out and take precautions. BUT, I can`t understand why the people in the masses always choose to sit through these storms etc. I just don`t get that. My son in Florida is gonna go head to head with Irma and I called him stupid. Now he`s mad at me. WHY take the chance when this storm COULD be a nasty one. Now the Keys are a different story and those people are COMPLETELY nuts for staying. And then, people have to risk life and limb to rescue them. I just don`t get it.... again.
