All i know of that levi is what you've posted here Art. And I envision the same thing. Dude, buy a gasket not rtv. Rtv the edges where it meets the crank seals. A dab. Or go the GM and get GMS it is what the factory uses and works well. Check if pan edges are staight and clean. Dont over tighten. Is it the pan or the rear main possibly? Have you now put more in than you paid? Frustrating What is BASH? And right now I have an idea as to what is wrong. Cylinder 1 has 0 compression. Cylinder 2 and 3 have 25 Compression reading. Cylinders 4 and 5 have 120 (Good) Compression reading Cylinder 6 has 50 Compression reading. And I would assume that my running issues are associated with improper valve seating, right? Or a hole in a piston or busted rings. All pistons have been checked

When I was speaking of the ring Rick, I was referring to the common notation that while in uniform, combat and dress, one is normally told not to wear any jewelry. Rings are not a good thing to be wearing when in any situation where a subtle glare can give away your position as well as cause major issues with mechanical work, training and what not. I actually knew a few soldiers while they were serving, married of course, never wore their rings. Their response when asked, "Our CO told us that as long as we wear the uniform, we can not wear the band. However as soon as we are on leave and in civilian clothing, we may wear our rings as intended when we got married."
