  1. Wheatland Rear Wheel Centers

The tractor has between 3000 and 3050 hours on it. It was sold new in the Oklahoma panhandle and that's where i got it. I believe the pipe has been banded on tractor since new. Jim
  2. Something you don't see every day...

Got the I 826 home, original owners son was there when I picked it up. Starts easy and sounds good, shifts like a new tractor. it was nice to get some history on the tractor. We'll wash and polish it and leave it as is. Jim

I don't think so i believe they should have the angle iron hole in them.
  5. 1066 hood bolts

To fasten the 3 big hood pieces you need 10- 5/16by5/8 in. washer head bolts and 8 373 483 R2 shoulder screw bolts rubber washers and flat washers
  6. Started My 806 L.P. restoration

  7. Anyone on here near Oakland Iowa?

That looks like a front mounted cult. bracket. If I remember correctly it was a model 85 cultivator.
  8. 966 Hydro Trans light

I have a 1066 hydro that I have been working on. I put new wiring harnesses in the tractor and fixed the pressure switches. There are 2 pressure switches on the tractor, one monitors temp. and the one monitors temperature.one of them is on the foot and inch valve assembly and the other one is located behind and to the side of the starter. The light is only supposed to come on when clutch pedal is pushed in or if you have low pressure or high temperatures. Axial-flow
  9. M Hood questions

I believe it is for a starting tank .Back then the little tank has gas in it and the big tank would have had kerosene or distillate or whatever cheap fuel was available. axial-flow
  10. International 1206 w/odd features.

This is a late serial no. tractor one of the last 75-80 built my guess it was done at factory to address cooling issues but that's just speculation. Tony, if Brian and I were closer we could do a small show and see some of our Texas tractors and equipment. Jim
  11. 1066 power problem

Have you had it on a dyno recently? I think that would be a good place to start. Axial-flow
  12. Time to close the book

I hope things go well for you in the future. Maybe you'll have more time for red power activities. good luck and good health. Jim
  13. Yesterday's Barn Find: IH 75lbs weights

Tony, The small suitcase wts. are good property to own, but they are the earlier style and don't have the L shaped slot in them to hold them from bouncing off.A careful driver like you won't have that problem though. Jim

  16. 1456 hydraulic seat cyclinder

On a 66 series hyd. seat the seal no. is 123 462 C1 and the rod wiper is 403 845 R1 ,there is a oring for the union and it is part no.570 828 R1 it measures .644x.818x.087 there is a oring for the adjusting screw it is 364 885 R1 it measures 3/4 x 15/16 x 3/32. You may not need these last two. I'm not sure but I think the hyd. seat for a 56 series is the same as the 66 series. axial-flow
  17. D-312 / Hydro 70 questions

Tom, If the radiator mounts like a large frame 66 series nothing would be under it but if you have some belting or an old inner tube to put under it would not hurt anything. I'd look for the water filter lines at you local salvage yard.I think you could have ordered a hydro 70 with power adjust wheels. Jim

  20. Texas IH 1456s

You see a lot of these Texas tractors with the big weights on the outside and when you look at them there is an other weight on the inside of the wheel just like the outside one and sometimes it is bigger. They also usually have the tires full of fluid. There is 4000-5000lbs. of weight on the rear end. You will talk to someone at a sale and he will say I used to have a tractor like that but we had rear end problems. I guess they never figured that they need a little slippage. Nice pictures Brian and interesting setups. Jim
