For estate purposes, I would like to have an informed opinion of the value of these items.
Thanks.

ROB - Welcome to the REDPOWER Forum. I did some searching on IHCUBCADET.COM in the classifieds, no 782's listed for sale but there was an 1811, same general spec's as a 782 just a couple years newer and made by CCC/MTD. It was listed for $850, then reduced to $750. A 50C deck & mule drive was listed for $225, and a 42 inch wide snow blower for $225 also. So like BrandingIron 1456 says, $1200 total on the low end, and $1500-$1600 on the high end. Condition makes a huge difference, and location also effects price. If the tractor & attachments are low houred equipment, paint & tires shiny and in good shape, and the tractor has some options, like the chrome hub caps it could be worth as much as $2000 on the east coast.
Depending on where you live I don't think you can get that much for an 782 Cub Cadet. An 1811 will have a 18 HP Kohler command engine were as the 782 will have the KT17 engine. The Command engine is worth a lot more than the old KT17 engine. (no pressure lubrication on the KT17) You can ask what ever you want but the 1811 you listed was for sale the last I knew. I bought a good 1812 (1811 with Dual Hydraulics) with 450 hours, dual hydr, 50c deck, and 54'' blade with chains and weights off Craig's list for 500 dollars for the kids. I would rate it a 8 or 9 as far as condition. It had been listed for three weeks and the guy only had two people look at it. (I was number two)

I thought I'd be in the ballpark on price, I also agree with Dr.Evil on them being worth 2000 or even more if done and set-up right, the red ones are collectable and only made a few years and built good. Hope that this will help ya.
Do you want to buy one??
I'll sell my red 782 for 2000 dollars and it has all the goodies and is in perfect condition

No, but thanks, I already have a 782 and 682 but would like to get a real nice 982 sometime.
I have two 982's I will sell. They are in great shape.
If a 782 is worth that much a rarer 982 should bring a lot more.
I was in Indianola Iowa and the dealer has a 782 that he is asking 500 dollars for.
I was talking to him and he would love to get a thousand for it.
You can ask what ever you want for something but is only what someone is willing to pay for it,
That sets it's true value
