Hi guys,
for a TD6-62 series with a drott 4 in 1, what transmissions were available?
I am looking at one with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear. My td-340's have shuttle shift, which i really like.
I dont know much other than the my TD 340's and 2504 with shuttle shift. 4 speeds with one reverse were usually agricultural crawlers, so my first question would be that maybe someone mounted a drott on a ag crawler. aldo thought that maybe by the time td6-62's came out, ag crawlers may not have been offered.
are there other TD6 options that would be better? powershift??
I would assume that there would be a better choice with the drott - figure one reverse speed would would limit reverse work - back blading, hauling loads backward etc.
any advice would be appreciaed.
thanks.

Someone could have mounted a 4in1 on a ag tractor, but it should be pretty obvious. The undercarrage should look like that one that the guy scrapped in the post I put up yesterday.
I would have thought there would be 2 reverses and 4 forward speeds but since I never owned a DROTT I don't know much about them.

According the parts book the later TD-6 (D-248) tractors had an option of replacing the third forward gear with a second reverse to give 4 forward 2 reverse against the standard 5 forward 1 reverse gear-box
