Was wondering what kind of plug gap to run with an MSD 6A ignition. Have been told up to .050 in. but that sounds like alot. Just curious what everyone else was running.

I assume this is on a tractor?? The coil you use will have a lot to do with plug gap. With my 440 with a 6-AL and a HOT MSD coil I am at about .035. This seems to work good up to 7500rpm.

The blaster and blaster 2 will jump a pretty big gap. Your compression ratio does make a difference, higher cylinder pressure generally wont jump quite a big a gap. I would assume that .040 would be maximum for a normal compression low RPM M engine. I hope that there are others more in tune to the lower speed use. I am sure some will chime in.
