Hi Folks,

Just wanted to let you know that we'll be upgrading the forum tomorrow morning to the latest version of Invision Power Board.

How will this affect you?

• Possible quick service interruptions. We can't give an exact time of the upgrade, but when it happens you may notice the board slow down, or halt altogether. The whole upgrade should be complete in ten to twenty minutes.
• The design of the board will change a little. The new versions of Invision Power Board are incompatible with the skin (design) that we're currently using. So, we've picked out another red, minimalist theme and will be installing it tomorrow after the upgrade.
• New features! There are some new features including performance improvements, Buddy lists, updated personal profiles, etc. For more info, feel free to checkout http://www.invisionp...ommunity/board/

Hi Folks,

Sorry for the long delay in the upgrade.

Although the forum upgrade went rather quickly, it turned out that we needed to rebuild and reindex the database for better performance. And, those of you who've been around here a while, know we've got a LOT of posts (closing in on half a million).

Thank you so much for your patience and please let us know if you have any problems with the functionality of the new board.

As you can see, the style's changed a bit. We weren't able to carry over the design from the old board, so we've selected a new style for the time being and I've made some modifications to the skin. You can expect to see more minor changes as time goes by.
