How much hp does the 414 turbo in a 915 combine have? At what rpm do they run? The derby is over, now I need to get some money back out of the thing.

Approx. 130 hp just like a 1066, would think they run the same rpm as a 1066, 2400-2600.

How'd you do?

My Gleaner defended her title quite nicely.

I think they're actually 140hp @2400RPM's. I know our old 915 low pro had pretty good guts running a 883 corn head.

My Gleaner defended her title quite nicely.

Did pretty good. Had 13 combines total, so classes were divided into 5, 4, and 4. I was supposed to be with a Gleaner M and Massey 750 and JD 95. But during the pre-show parade, a JD 55 almost flipped doing a donut, and arched his battery, killing his machine. So the 95 got with the smaller ones. In my heat, they lined us up sideways, with the gleaner in the middle, and the MF and me on either side. We basically sandwiched the gleaner, and when I saw one flat rear on him and the other tire break off, I went around him and went head to head with the massey. He pretty thoroughly destroyed my head, and I got hung up on it at the end, but not before driving his head into the ground stopping him. Meanwhile, the gleaner got turned around and kept going!!! so he won it, broken axle and all! He did not, however, go into the overall, which the 95 JD won, with my cousin at the wheel.

Overall good time for all, and the beer tasted good afterwards!!!

Was thinking the non turboed 414 in our lo profile 815 was 130 and the 915 with the turbo had quite a bit more than that.

Geez- are you sure they're that high? Funny they didn't use a 436 if they were crankin' that much. No wonder the early 1480's were so under powered they had 190hp (436 engine)- not near enough for that size of machine.
